Check Out Our Past Home Security System Class
During STEM For All Brockton’s “Home Security System” Class, we used a Raspberry Pi miniature computer, a motion sensor, an alarm buzzer, and python coding to create and program a miniature and fully functional home security system for our cardboard creation homes.

"We learned how to code in this program. My favorite part was when we made the houses with cardboard, and we also got to buy miniature furniture to decorate the houses."
"The program is very beneficial because it improved my son's knowledge of computer science. I hope this program continues to grow so It can help many other kids in the community."
"We learned how to build a security system with motion sensors and lights. It was such a fun experience, and I enjoyed it. I want to participate in a more advanced program, and I'm looking forward to the next session. "
"I'm so happy that I went to Marianie's computer class. It helped me understand coding, and now I know how to code. She's an outstanding teacher. She explained the lessons very well and made them easier to understand."
“I’m so glad that my son got to participate in this program because of the way that he’s evolving and the amount of knowledge that he has now. Marianie is doing such a good job in the Brockton community teaching kids STEM. They will be able to make something of themselves in the future”
“I enjoyed the program, it was really helpful and informative. The program taught me new things about computer science”
