About STEM For All Brockton

STEM For All Brockton’s mission is to provide free STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education to students ages 7-19 from low-income families in the Brockton community. Our primary focus will be to create and teach different courses that will introduce and spark interest in STEM majors and STEM education. What sets us apart from other organizations is that we can relate to minority students from low-income families, and we are also faith-based. Students from low socio-economic backgrounds have little to no formal STEM education/program offered in their schools and neighborhoods, which puts them and their families at a disadvantage in life. These students are the future of the world. Leaving them at the disadvantage of not being introduced to STEM could harm their potential to achieve their dreams, create new inventions, make discoveries, improve their family living situation, and make a great impact in the world. STEM For All Brockton wants to give STEM education to students from low socio-economic backgrounds to give them opportunities for a better life.

Meet Our Founder

Marianie Simeon

Marianie Simeon is a Haitian American computer scientist. Going to college, being the only black female in her year in the computer science major, she saw a great need in her community to be introduced to STEM. She made it her mission to remove the barrier of inaccessibility to STEM education for students from low socio-economic backgrounds and provide STEM education for all.

Angely Michela

Angely Michela is a Haitian American Business Operator Intern. She wanted to make an impact in her community and decide to volunteer for STEM For All Brockton. She serves as the backbone of STEM For All Brockton ensuring our efficiency and increasing our outreach.
